The most advanced Core-Stability Dome!  The Turtl' is the world's most unique core stability exercise dome in that it is molded as a dome and not a ball. Therapeutically, this means that you can work on a variety of skills you would be unable to perform on a typical dome or ball alone.

This unique feature enables the Turtl' to be molded to its exact shape, and provides 50% more useable surface are right down to the floor! Because we could mold the shape we wanted, we selected the size and contour of the top third of a 95cm thearpy ball. As a result, the Turtl' is 5.1cm higher and 7.6cm wider and features 50% more useable surface area than it's nearest competitor.

The moderately sticky composition of the bumper acts in concert with the moderate flex of the concave base-plate to create a suction-cup effect that securely holds the Turtl' in place on flat and smooth surfaces. We also decided to give the Turtl' a surface texture designed specifically for traction. Because therapy balls require a lot of air, they're manufactured with "plug valves" designed to allow more air volume to enter. The drawback of plug valves is that it's difficult to get the exact firmness you want. Domes typically have plug valves located underneath; and inconvenient location when you need to adjust pressure. Because of that, we added a second "fine tuning" valve on top, so you can quickly set the Turtl' to the exact pressure you want using a commonly available athletic pump and needle.
